Whenever I see someone playing the piano I cannot help but be amazed at how confident they look. I just saw a performance yesterday in Sydney. It is like when they sit in front of it, they begin to transform into a whole different person. Suddenly a shy quite guy becomes dashing with confidence. Once they start playing, the room starts to light up. It becomes alive. Some dance, everyone smiles. I guess that is the reason why in older times a piano was an essential in parties. I also noticed how versatile the piano is. You would think its use would only be limited to classical music, but I have heard a lot of piano sounds in pop music as well. It maybe the piano's innate ability to convey a lot of different emotions. It can be sad and sorrowful like one of Mozart's Requiems or happy and energetic like the Flight of the Bumblebee. Maybe that is why so many songwriters know how to play the piano. It helps them channel emotions first into melody before adding in the words. I think it is awesome that the piano was invented, without it, the world would lack a lot of great songs. We would live in a world empty of music. It crossed my mind that I should try learning how to play the piano but I hesitate since it is a big stretch from playing the guitar. It really looks difficult to play but so did playing the guitar when I started. I do have a piano here in Sydney and I have convenient access to piano lessons within the area. I just hope my fingers can adapt from switching from a string instrument to the keys of the piano. I am fairly confident I can learn to play it, just give me enough time, I can do this. https://www.starsandcatz.com.au/lessons/piano-teacher-sydney-nsw.htm

I know it is a big instrument compared to the conventional things that we see, not really your typical string instrument like a guitar but it is fascinating how it can make such a richer sound. Got me thinking it would be nice learning to play an instrument that makes you stand out a little. At first, I thought the music it can produce would be limited to orchestral use, but saw a lot of videos online and I was pleasantly surprised. It can be used for accompaniment for ballads, pop songs and even saw a performance which it was used for a rock song. It might be as versatile as a guitar and could be such a big show stealer of a talent. I am just curious whether it would be as rewarding and satisfying as playing the piano, which I also love, but I have been wanting to try another instrument since I was a child. Maybe the cello is the best for me. I know it is kind of big but so is a piano! I can always take lessons here in Brisbane just like what I did for learning the piano so that would not be an issue for me. I am all hyped up about it. I do not really know a lot of cello musicians out there, there are certainly no one within in my circle of friends who plays cello and mind you most of them are musically inclined. Maybe this could be the next step for me in my music journey. Really great listening to orchestral music then being pleasantly surprised of what inspiration you can gain. I am just doing the rest of my research on which one to buy and where to take the lessons, but it looks like I am all set in learning this. https://www.starsandcatz.com.au/lessons/cello-teacher-brisbane-qld.html
